Hi! I’m Sadie, a passionate and dedicated student-athlete with a love for horsemanship and community service. Currently, I attend The Grauer School in Encinitas, CA, where I’m a part of the Class of 2028. My academic journey has been driven by hard work and curiosity, earning me a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.43 weighted GPA, alongside three honors classes in my freshman year.
Outside of school, I’m deeply involved in various community service and volunteer organizations. I work with PATH Volunteers in San Diego, preparing and serving meals at a local housing center. I’m also excited to contribute to Rider’s Closet, where my mom and I manage the Southern California section, collecting and donating riding gear for less fortunate riders.
At my school, I’ve had the privilege of being the ASB President at Earl Warren Middle School, where I was responsible for running meetings and fostering school spirit. I’m also a member of several clubs, including Girl Rising, where we focus on empowering young women, and the Climate Action Club, where we take steps to protect our environment.
My journey as an equestrian has been an exciting one. I compete in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation disciplines and have achieved several notable wins, including winning the .85 Non-Pro Jumper Classic at Desert International Horse Park and the 1.00 Junior/Amateur Classic at HITS Del Mar. Throughout 2024, I earned 7 Champion and 7 Reserve Champion awards across multiple divisions, and I am looking forward to continuing to improve my skills in the sport.
When I’m not at school or in the saddle, I enjoy volunteering with Lasagna Love, making and delivering meals to those in need, and being part of Inspired Movement Dance Company, where I performed as part of a competitive dance team.
Through all these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, and giving back to the community. Whether I’m working in the barn or helping a neighbor, I’m always looking for ways to make a positive impact and grow as both a person and a rider. I’m excited for the opportunities ahead and the chance to continue contributing to the causes that mean so much to me.
