Description: Volunteered at the PATH housing center in San Diego, CA from 5-7. My family and I prepared dinner and food for the next day. At six we served the food to the housed for the next forty minutes and afterward, we cleaned up the kitchen area.

Description: Rider’s Closet is a foundation that works on collecting donations of riding gear for less fortunate riders. My mom and I run the southern California section of this foundation and work at all the shows that we go to. We collect items from every show and then ship them to the bigger foundation.

Description: I participated in Middle School ASB both years that I attended this school. We met three times a week and did various things along the lines of school dances, community service, and new student socials. In my second year in this class, I was ASB President, which entailed that I would run meetings, speak with the Principal and district staff, and have a bigger voice within the community.

Description: Girl Rising Club is a club at my school that works to educate and empower young women. Together, we do service projects, watch informational videos, and raise money for certain organizations. We meet every Thursday during school lunch and do service projects/events after school.

Description: A competitive dance team at a Studio in Rancho Santa Fe. I had four competitions and performed five different routines at each of them. The team was full of around 30 girls from all different ages and it was a good way to make new friends and to create a community.

Description: Lasagna Love is a foundation that works with volunteers to create meals for either families or individuals that either can’t afford a meal on their own. I make the lasagna with my mom and sister and then we deliver them to the families or people the day of or after.

Description: I spoke at the board meeting for the San Dieguito Union High School District. I made a speech about the improvement we had made in the school on the lines of inclusivity and a sense of community. I stood beside my principal and another immigrant student.

Description: Mud Run Club is a club that focuses on participating and helping out at the San Diego-based Mud Runs for charity. We do several throughout the year to help support the charities that get the profit from the participation.
